Accessibility and Access Keys

We support the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and are committed to making our site as accessible as possible to everyone, this being one of the underlying concepts of the Internet.

Access Keys

To help visitors navigate quickly through the site, we have set up a number of access keys. These work as keyboard shortcuts to certain pages or functions and are detailed below.

Instructions for using Access Keys

PCs

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 - press 'Alt' and letter at the same time
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 - press 'Alt' and letter, then press enter
  • Netscape 6 - press 'Alt' and letter at the same time

Macs

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 - hold down 'Control' key and then press letter

 

Large Print and Text Phone Facilities

If you require any of our printed material in an alternative format, such as large print, Braille or audio tape, please speak to a member of staff at your local branch or contact us on 0845 1200 100.

We also provide a textphone facility through our Member Contact Centre. The number is 0845 1200 851. 

Lines are open 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 1pm Saturday.
